"Forget about Tenaglia. Forget about Digweed. DJ Steve Lawler is the king of dark & dirty house! I have all 3 of his current releases (Dark Drums 1 & 2, Global Underground Nubreed) and all 3 are rock-solid. Fierce tribal rythms and percussions that never speed up too fast or grind down too slow - they just grab you and hypnotize you and don't let you go. If you like one of this guy's CDs you will like them all, so if you have one of them then buy the others. Can't wait until he releases his GU Lights Out CD - I will be at the record store the day it comes out. Long live Lawler!"

"For all of you Steve Lawler fans out there, you must get this!! Besides it being the only commercially-available example of his mixing besides the Nubreed album (UK & Japan residents PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong!) it is a tremendous step forward in house music. It starts off really well with a killer intro. He then goes into his tribal stomping ground for a while before hitting that INCREDIBLE Jan Driver mix of Gintare's "Earthless". Then he just plays around with the grooves som more until hitting another killer...Loophole's "Driven By Dreams".Steve Lawler is probably one of the most important DJs around because he's pushing a very specific sound. Guys who do this are the ones who are remembered...not the ones who follow what everyone else is doing. And no, he's not the "British Tenaglia"...that title will never exist!! Has anyone heard of an "American Steve Lawler"? I didn't think so either! Steve, if you ever read this, you have many fans in the Dominican Republic who would like some more of you tastefully dark music."

This CD will cast an EVIL spell on your hips and rear-end!

"Simply put - THIS CD IS PHENOMENAL! It will possess your mind and body like no other trance or house CD that I know of - and I own hundreds of them! It BUILDS AND BUILDS and POUNDS AND POUNDS and gets BETTER AND BETTER as it goes along! I get SO pumped up every time I listen to it! (Or - as the lyrics in the opening track, "Dance Naked" says, - "I feel like I just got high!") You WILL find yourself flailing like a rag-doll - behind the wheel of your car - or in your house doing whatever! You WILL totally lose control! Don't fight it! Just surrender! It's pointless to resist! This CD conjures up images of EXTREMELY sexy people - dancing in a VERY naughty way ;) - on a DARK dancefloor - in some DUNGEON-LIKE nightclub!!! (Think MTV's "The Grind" in a nightclub instead of the beach - only with FAR SUPERIOR music and WAY COOLER people!)
