Subtle Messages Through A Deserted Landscape!

"I have been a long time Steve Roach fan since the beginning of his career, and I have to say that this CD is one of the best out there since the release of 'Structures From Silence'. This is it!
Imagine standing on the top of a mountain, observing the landscapes ahead of you, taking a few deep breaths while listening to this phenomenal CD. Imagine seeing the past, the present and what the future holds. Reach out for the abstract matters of life and try to feel what's close but not touching. Only then you will find the real truth of what life on this planet is all about.
The music on this disc makes dreams into reality before you know it, and it also evokes your deepest inner feelings and let's all your sensations and emotions come to life. At least that's how I felt when I got indulged by this masterpiece!.
The music is mysteriously beautiful, almost like taking the best from both worlds in terms of good and bad, bright and dark. Steve certainly knows how to create imaginary landscapes with slow-motion terraforming structure and rhythmless soundscapes. Think of this album as a slightly darker 'Structures from Silence' and you have a good recipe of what to expect. With it's strong subtle messages, It feels that this CD has more to offer to the listener, a deeper meaning than his previous releases. And the flow of the dramatic sequences that can be heard throughout is simply stunning!. You will be able to explore subtle messages through a deserted landscape in no time.
I consider this album to be a must have in any SR fan's collection. And for those who are not so familiar with Steve Roach, I have only one thing to say to them...You will not be disappointed!
My deepest atmospheric recommendations!!"
Mr. Roach Hits Another Grand Slam!!!

"I was skeptical at first. I mean, just how many "looking up at the desert night sky while smoking peyote in an ancient Native American shaman's pipe" music can one person compose? But Mr.Roach tops himself again!
This is one of the best ambient compositions ever constructed.
Think the desert is dead at night? Hardly. Mr. Roach shows with "Dynamic Stillness" that it *IS* alive. One can hear the Quiet. One can hear the darkness ("A Darker Light" is a perfect example.)
Guided by the moon & stars one can see that there is life & movement in the desert at night with pieces like "Nature Of Things" & "Slowly Revealed".
If you are a fan of Mr. Roach or ambient music you will not be dissapointed with this masterpiece."
'Dynamic Stillness' is yet another stunning Steve Roach rele

"Ohh...this is brilliant ambience. Just when you thought 'Mystic Chords' or 'Arc of Passion' or the 'Immersion 1-4 Series' had enough to keep your Ambient library full and satisfied for a few months more yet, along comes 'Dynamic Stillness' to blast your soul into a hyper-real, long, smooth, tunnelling vortex of georgeous, lush, wintry, and yet ever so subtle drifting expanses of cool, soothing, evocative, chilly, and extremely high quality atmospheres, of deep ambient drone.
Definition of good quality ambient music should: reflect, shimmer, cast, lull, emote, ensure, enrol, engage, release, corral, show, reveal, hold, and, display; it's internal pulse, it's tonal drive, and all its life impressed, expressed, and enduring creative sensitivities.
But I can't help but label Steve Roach's music nothing less than 'Sound-Escapes'; that takes you on it's journey, that puts you in the driver's seat of your own experience with it; within you.
And this release is simply another example of the extensive Roach musical palette being painted upon your experience; for you to wonder, admire, escape, travel, and behold.
Do not hesitate to start your journey without yourself; or without this magnificent CD.
Buy now. Enjoy forever."

"I Have been through SO Much Steve roach in the last few months, that listening to anything else, In ANY other genre, has become a Chore!
In My Mind, Mr. Steve Roach has opened a portal into heaven, To which no other music can even be juxtaposed against...
This CD, While In Mr. Roach's Original Style, Seems to be An Untouched serenity of sorts... I Find that the music is Uplifting in its own mellow stance, And EVERYTIME It is played It seems like something I Have never heard before! There is Much More "Light", If you will, To this set of cd's Then, Say, the "Immersion" Series - Which is in its own High standards!
My 5/5 Star review on this cd, Isn't only for the music, that has been carefully crafted by Steve Roach, But Also For the ambience in general, the Melody, & Artwork, that in my view, relates, In its entireity, to the sound!
A Pleasure to listen to!
Enjoy!"
