"If you're in the market for Televison-like guitar duels and top-notch songwriting to boot, then head out and pick this one up pronto. It's the third straight masterpiece from Steve Wynn. This one harkens back to the early Dream Syndicate sound more so than any other Wynn solo lps, which is a good thing. Both Wynn and lead guitarist Jason Victor have developed a chemisrty akin to Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd. Wynn's songwriting skills continue to amaze, even after a nearly 25 year career. Few of his Paisley peers can lay claim to that distinction. Although many may compare Wynn and his mates to Crazy Horse (check them out live and you'll really find out why). Young and Co. haven't made anything nearly this good in almost 30 years. Put down that british post-punk revival crap and reconnect to the rock."

"that about sums this album up. Killer song after killer song. If you are a fan of Steve Wynn, you won't be disappointed. Definitely his best since the Dream Syndicate days. Buy it!"
Steve Wynn deserves your money

"If I was younger, single and childless, I would backpack through Europe following this amazing band from one smoke filled club to the next. Why this man is not a household name is an eternal mystery to those of us whose lives and impaired hearing owe a great debt to Steve.
Buy this record, then buy them all, including his Dream Syndicate albums.

As usual

"Steve Wynn Takes us further than we expect.
Just when you start to listen and relax into the groove you begin to realize "this is just like any other Steve Wynn collection" and you are going to spend years with it gnarling, snuggling, grooving, and quarreling.
Only, this one is the finest of the miracle 3 enmeshed.
