"There haven't been 10 better albums made in country music over the past 50 years. Waylon Jennings used to regularly show up at Young's shows and told anybody who wanted to hear it that he had the best voice in country music. Young's also one of the finest 12 string guys in the biz. If you like Americana or Alt. Country or whatever it is they call it these days, you NEED these CDs."
Not the guy with all the concussions that wore #8

"These are two albums produced by Roy Dea. (It actually comes with 2 CD's in one jewel case.) Roy Dea was Gary Stewart's producer on his classic album "Out Of Hand". Steve Young's emotional vocals sound very good with this type of production. Many of these songs are Outlaw Classics. These albums are collectors items on vinyl, so you'll never be able to find them. Might as well on CD, eh? Steve Young has a musical career just as fabulous as his football career."
I'm impressed

"What a treat for the ears and the soul. Steve Young has to be one of the best song writers and singers I've ever heard, yet in my 45 years of listening to all types of music I'd never been exposed to his music before. I bought this double album and listened to twice today after UPS delivered my order.
What a rich, inspired-from-the-heart soulful voice, wonderful lyrics, and great instrumentals. It's hard to classify Steve's music. It's definitely country, but it's much more than that too. I will be buying more of his albums as I've listened to a couple more tracks from other albums of his and these two albums are not shots-in-the-dark. Everything of his is very good.
I'd heard Seven Bridges Road by the Eagles and thought it was very good, but I have to say Steve Young does a far better job playing and singing it. You can hear his heart in his music. It's extraordinary. I would love to see him in concert.
