CD Reviews

A new Texas Trilogy opens
ibis_mummy | 06/18/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I've just been Rest-area Waltzin' since Fromholz last release (The Old Fart in the Mirror [live]) in eager anticipation of some new songs to float by me like the Nueces: cool, sometimes funky, twisting-turning slow to fast. Ah, I taste Texas in this jewel case. Fromholz is sill a lyrical genuis, I guess it's just a wolverines' scence."

"Steven has a great new assortment of Texas ballads written especially for Texans and those folks who wish they could be. His fabulous voice rings on this CD. I only wish he had included Dear Darcy on this one."
