A Long Time Coming...for too long

"My nane is Rosalind Meeks, sister of the artist, Steven. If you set aside all nepitism, this is an extroidinary cd. " Rose", for our mother, ( who died from a 6 yr bout of brain cancer), and "Come Lately", for our father, (who is 83 and still kickin') are beautiful tributes to them both. Just one listen, to them will explain who they were and are. Close your eyes and you will see what Steven's music is telling you! I am humbled by my brother's talent and wish him the greatest successess. Can't wait for the next cd, maybe there will be a cut entitled Rosalind! Finally, I have been fortunate to experience the live performances of the musicians that contributed to this cd...thay are professionals, in their own right! Love you all! Roz"

"It was definitely worth the wait. I understand this was a twenty-five year compilation of expression and love and I hear and feel the love. I was especially moved by "Creepin Ta Midnight", "I'm Yours" and "Words Could Never Say". The entire CD took me to many places in my heart, mind and periods of life. I felt the sounds of the "old school" jazz along with the more "to date" sounds. It was like living the spectrum of jazz with a little funk thrown in. I love the mellowness of the CD. It can be played anytime at any occasion."

"I thought it was a nice mellow cd if you're into light sounds and a few jazzy hits. It kind of gives you the feeling that you're listening to a nice "rumba" or that you are in another world totally. I think it's track 2, that sounds like it should be in the soundtrack to an Antonio Banderas. Something that you can get your "candlelight dinner" on with that special someone."
