Much better!!!

"Steven Seagal, you have done a great job following up "Songs from the Crystal Cave" with this fantastic Blues only album!
This album is much stronger, and a vast improvement over Mr. Seagal's first album, but still has a couple of small issues that do not quite give it the 5 star rating it could have had. There are a couple of tracks where Steven's raspy voice is drowned out by the music tracks, however, overall this album is a must not only for Steven Seagal fans, but for Blues fans overall.
All the songs are covers of previously existing works, and Mr. Seagal does a great job of making them his own-in a few cases even improving upon the original recordings. "Red Rooster" is by far the top track on this album.
No longer bogged down by Steven's outspoken attitudes toward the media, or his need to find his own style, we can finally sit back and listen to some great music, performed by a man who has a genuine love of the material, and enjoys showing this love to all who will listen.
Thanks!"

"Well this surprised my socks off!, Steven has been lambasted because his movies are not award winners and follow a set formula, well, so what?, they do entertain! they do well enough at the box office and better when they go to video, but this CD, it is really good, he has a real feel for the blues, a good voice for the blues, excellent timing also, his guitar playing? OK, so he is not a "Clapton", but then who is, he plays very well, he has written some very good blues numbers also, the evergreens?, no problem for Steven, he pays them respect, good to hear some of the old blues greats on here, they are old, they are national treasures, Steven pays them respect also."

"Oh boy i think segal is terrific. i keep thinking he would be great as the character Ranger in The Janice Evonivich number series. I had no idea he sang but when I saw this on amazon and listened to it. well i had to have it. he sounds so smooth, bluey, sexy. He reminds me of the style Barry White used. I have played it so much i think i am wearing it out. if you like saultrie blues new orleans style jazz you will like it."
