"Any collection that contains all of the major hits from the great classic Motown sixties period by the legendary Stevie Wonder can only be a 5-star affair!!! Stevie exploded on the scene in 1963 with the #1 mega-hit "Fingertips, Pt. 2" and it was clear that the career of a truly extraordinary musical genius was born...every song in this twelve song set was a solid hit and as Stevie matured songs like "I Was Made To Love Her", "Uptight (Everything's Alright)" and "My Cherie Amour" became stirring athems that showed what a awesome singer Stevie is! Writing more of his songs as time went by, Stevie was always completely capable of putting his own classic stamp on great songs such as "For Once In My Life" (which was later covered by just about everyone) and a super fine version of "Blowin" In The Wind" which became a hit all over again by Stevie. Smoldering soulful performances by Stevie were among the most memorable of the great musical sixties with two of the finest being "Shoo-BeDoo-Be-Doo-Da-Day" and the classic "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" and it was clear by this time that with time this talent would only deepen and grow to greater artistic heights! In the course of this sampler one can experience a hugely talented child star grow into a great singer/songwriter that defined what greatness is all about in the wonderful world of music...this collection is a great starting point for those who were not there to experience the awesome beginnings of this magnificent and legendary talent! Bravo Stevie Wonder and thank you for all the years of musical wonder...and may there be many more!!!!"

"While you may want to pick and choose his 70s and later stuff on iTunes. This CD is the perfect early Stevie Wonder collection. Not a bad track here. Give it a listen and you'll know why he was given his stage name."
