"Here is one of the many albums by Stewart Copeland, an often overlooked musician and composer (ex-drummer of Police). After disbanding his group he made soundtracks for many films, but only some of the films came out famous. As usual, no one cares about a music soundtrack for a movie no one really heard of. Silent Fall ain't exactly Star Wars or The Good The Bad and The Ugly, sure almost no one heard of it. So, why buy the soundtrack? Why bother?
I'll tell you why - cause it is great! Stewart always composed great soundtracks, like for Leopard Son (overlooked gem) or Wall Street, and this one is just as great. The film is a drama, and the score is dramatic as well. It is basically performed by a small chamber orchestra (or at least it sounds like it) with synthesizer played by Stewart. The music is also kind of slow most of the time, not something you'd dance to. Keep that in mind.
If you like great music (or orchestral) and do not care where it came from, buy this CD. Especially when the price is THIS low!!!"
