Terry Brock Had Made a Very Successful Career Out of Singing Backing Vocals on Some of the Biggest Albums of the Period, Including for Journey and Foreigner. His Voice Complements the Band's Sound Perfectly. Released Here in a Remastered Form with Expanded Artwork, Sleeve Notes from Classic Rock Magazine's Dave Ling and with Two Previously Unreleased Bonus Tracks, this is the Best this Album Has Ever Looked Or Sounded.

Final Strangeways Album - Remastered

"1989's Walk in the Fire was the third and final album from Strangeways, one of the better AOR/melodic rock acts of that decade (and you know that's saying something).

Walk in the Fire may not be quite as impressive as 1987's Native Sons, but it is still a first class AOR album. This was the second Strangeways album to feature vocal powerhouse Terry Brock, and he delivers another great performance here. To my ears, the band took a somewhat less rocking approach on this album, coming in somewhere between Bryan Adams and Lou Gramm's solo material. The songs are all quite good, but with a little more punch I think this album could have been as powerful as Native Sons.

If you're a fan of that larger than life 80's AOR/arena rock sound, Walk in the Fire is bound to satisfy. And if you were a Strangeways fan back in the day, you should love the reissued version of Walk in the Fire, which features much-needed digital remastering and two live bonus tracks - Breakin' Down the Barriers and Walk in the Fire.
