A mixed bag

"I like this album but some of it baffles me.
1st the production was mixed by a crackhead, some songs sound better than others and some songs sound like they were recorded in a van. Listen to the first song and then the last song...there is a huge difference. Although this album is good for a few listens, it ends up sounding like a b-sides and rarities. I highly reccommend giving this a listen before you buy, even for hardcore strife fans."
Best Hardcore CD ever

"A lot of people don't like this album because it doesn't sound like the "old" Strife. Anyway, this CD is largely underrated. It's Strife's most mature work up to date. This should become an icon in Hardcore music. All the songs are filled angry, energetic music and completed with very thoughtful lyrics. The album bears a positive anti-militarism message. You 'll know what I mean when you'll hear Rick Rodney screaming "What is wrong with humanity?" on the song "angermeans". You should buy this CD to know what Hardcore is really about: aggressive music and socio-political engagement."
Not the same, but good enough for me!!!

"After strife's brief break/break up and re-uniting it would seem obvious that the bands sound would change somewhat, and this album fits that descrition. Angermeans no doubt sounds like strife, but the passion that once was abundant in their music seems to have dropped. Songs like "rise again" sound like strife, but lack the mentality and effort that they once possessed. Strife fans will enjoy this album, but they will see a difference. In a nutshell, pick this album up and enjoy its classic strife!"
