"String's album The Black Widow was supposed to come out in 2000 but was shelved. After listening to it I know why. Strings is not the worst female rapper ever(hello Khia anybody?)but she's on the list somewhere. If you remember her, she was the weirdo who made a mockery of Sisqhoe's summmer hit Thong Song with her raunchy comeback Tongue Song. Her album was shelved for a good reason: it sucks. She has no personality and her beats are incredibly dull. The only song that is okay is Hey Ya feat The Hot Boys. It's never a good sign when Swizz Beatz produces half of your album with production that sounds like leftovers from a Ryde Or Die compilation. Case in point with Raise It Up(feat Drag-on), Table Dance, Treason and Um. Um has the dumbest hook you'll ever hear of 2000. Raise It Up is a failed club banger with Drag-On. Fatality is a terrible jilted-girlfriend-gets-revenge type of track. P**** was the horrible first single for this unreleased. Pimps Up, Hoes Down features a weak perfomance from Shannwa's former girl crew, Infamous Syndicate. Blunt Object is a poorly told story of a guy who gets killed with a blunt object and Strings is the prime suspect. Here's a thought for Strings: If you dont have anything against Sisqhoe then why have a raunchy rendition of his hit Thong Song that borders on cheesey? Manny Fresh hooks Strings up with a weak beat that matches her weak rhymes. More Disposables: V.I.P., Table Dance, Treason and If You Dont Know. Bottom Line: The Black Widow was shelved for a very good reason. The beats were drab, her rhymes were weak and the guest appearances added very little to this crapfest. If you never heard this album yourself then consider yourself one of the lucky ones."
