Second Prize

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I'll keep this brief.

Relative to For Hero: For Fool, Exiting Arm deserves a somewhat underwhelming 4 stars. Relative to everything else I've heard in the past 6 months, Exiting Arm deserves an enthusiastic 5 star rating absolutely.

It's an easier listen than FH:FF... less complex, fewer "wow" transitions from one distinct sound to another, and for whatever reason it feels like Exiting Arm just lacks the emotion that FH:FF had, but this is still a great album and well worth the cost of admission. For me it will probably prove to be an "only when I'm in a certain mood" album, but I certainly wouldn't knock anyone for falling in love with it either."
Very good
