"Thank you to the folks at Studio West for unearthing this marvelous collection of songs (mostly recorded in the early 1960's) by this lovely singer whose superb jazz-oriented vocal stylings are rarely heard on record these days.I happen to own some of Ms. Raney's albums (including the three she made with Bob Florence), and I have always been amazed at her talent over the years. The liner notes are very informative also."

"Wow...I can't remember how I happened upon this disc, but this is one of the most enjoyable vocal jazz discs in my collection. Many singers excel in one or two qualities, but Sue's got it all with perfect pitch, phrasing, placement and lots of range with perfect control. The most recent session included here is from ca.1969, including a beautiful ballad of Bobby Troup, along with some great up-tempo pieces backed up by Shelley Manne. And as perfect as the voice was in 1961, it was pluperfect in 1969!But what is the Voice like now? I wait, like Simeon, for the collaboration with Alan Broadbent."

"What could be a more perfect match than Page Cavanaugh at the paino and Sue Raney at the microphone. Raney's drop dead gorgeous voice with Cavanaugh's uncanny swing style piano is a match made in heaven. Raney sings, swings and improvises through a variety of jazz standards. Studio West(who also put out an exellent collection of Joannie Sommers songs), has outdone themselves, with this wonderful collection of Sue Raney gems. This music is timeless, roamntic, swinging, and pure jazz delight. Studio West has done it again, a perfect jazz vocal masterpiece. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

"Truly Wonderful Album! I never knew of Sue Raney until just recently. She has such a great voice. This album is highly recommended! Did You Know that the song "Breezin' Along with the Breeze" Was from the movie "The Long,Long Trailer" With Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz? They both sang this song as they were breezin down the highway after buying the Trailer! When I heard Sue Raneys' version, I just knew I'd heard that song! It took about a week of thinking about it before it finally came to me. I grabbed my copy of the Long,Long Trailer and watched it and there it was! Just this one song makes the whole album worth buying all by itself, However, the rest of the album is wonderful!"
