CD ReviewsA great album from a great singer. Jerry Bogner | Irvington, NJ | 07/16/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "Sue Raney is a great singer who has never been recognized widely. She is unique. I got one of her cd's almost by accident, and have since purchased every one that I could find on Amazon. My love is instrumental jazz, but her music touches me profoundly, unlike any other singer.
My two favorite albums are IN GOOD COMPANY, and this one, DREAMSVILLE. Alan Broadbent deserves much credit for providing such a great, fitting accompaniment on both albums. I hope Japanese producers will put the two of these masterpieces in print again. I wish I could figure out a way of getting them air time. Jerry Bogner" |
