Album Description* Featuring enchanting, soothing music with touches of beats and mystical Eastern vocals, the fourth album release from Bahramji is a tribute to Sufi music and the artist's Persian roots. * Bahramji, born in the Persian city of Kermanshah, began his musical development at a young age. He is a virtuoso on the santoor, a traditional string instrument, and also plays the settar and the ney, a Persian bamboo flute. He has sung interpretations of mystic poets such as Rumi, Saadi, Attar, and Hafez. * Mashti, born in Norway, was surrounded with music from birth because of his father, the well-known modern classical composer Arne Nordheim. He has made music for documentaries and art installations, and has worked as a DJ for the last 15 years in Denmark, Holland, and India.
