"The Sugababes recently underwent a change in lineup. Mutya Buena, one of the founding members, gracefully bowed out of the group claiming the stress of being in a major pop act was too much. She will be missed as part of this amazing group, but I can't say it was entirely bad, as it gives us their new stellar member, Amelle! She's got a voice that blends really well with Keisha's and Heidi's. She really showcases it nicely on this track, their latest pop confection.



Red Dress is a song about being good enough for any man without all the glitz and glamour. It's fast-paced and highly enjoyable. The remixes, unfortunately, don't do a WHOLE lot for it, but if I had to choose one, it would be the Dennis Christopher Vocal Mix. The Cagedbaby mix is really just an extended mix for the dancefloor, but Mr. Christopher takes the song in a house-y direction.



The best part of this single though is access to the amazing video. It is even better than "Push the Button", and I loved that song.
