In The Pursuit Of Leisure

"You fans have got to be kidding. This is the best Sugar Ray stuff I have ever heard. The reason most people have a hard time with this last album is because now the band have a strong melody to every song they produce. The only problem is whenever I see them live they do not do any of their original songs from this album except Mr. Bartender (Mr. DJ). You can whistle every toon from start to finish. The melodies going on in the songs would rival the Beatles. Yes the Beatles! Hey punk is good but when you leave a song and it still stays with all day,man that is writing. .
4. Bring Me the Head Of... Led Zepplin Reference.
5. Mr. Bartender (It's So Easy) - Great opening riff.12. Blues From A Gun Reminds me of the White ALbum. Not a bad song on the album. I bought this cd when it first came out and it is still on my machine almost a year later. Longevity is the key for music, it holds up very well."
Sugar Ray did not sell out

"For those of you who think Sugar Ray sold out your wrong. When you've been a band for 15 yrs you begin to mature, and it shows in their music. With ITPOL they have become very versital. You get the hip hop dance sound to Mr Bartender. the bluesy rock sound of In Through the Doggie Door, the reagge sound of 56 Hope Road, to the soft scentual side of Heaven. Plus the Cover of Is She Really Going Out With Him because Sugar Ray tries to put a cover on almost every cd. Even though its already a year old I would still recommend this cd."
