"The Good
Sugar Red Drive is a rock band that knows that any good rock album needs a good opening track. "Wicked Sister" kicks off with a killer guitar lick that repeats throughout the song. The chorus is just as encompassing. "Velvet Leash" brings more chunky riffs to the table. "One More Time" opens up with a tribal drum section that slowly burns into a pure rock rumble. "Grace" is a mid-tempo ballad with plenty of emotion of vocal melodies. "Millers Child" is another ballad style track that features the soulful vocals of Archit Tripathi with an acoustic backing. "Overdrive" is just as frantic and fired-up as the title suggests. "In My Head" is strong on vocals and desire. Pick any Chris Daughtry song from the radio, and you'll know what I'm talking about.
The Bad
The band's official website doesn't really make it clear when or where you can buy this album.
The Verdict
Sugar Red Drive is your typical hard rock radio band. Their latest album is filled with catchy guitar driven tracks and soulful/melodic vocals."
