"My eyes popped out when I saw all the great Grandmaster Flash and Sugarhill classic raps in one package, but let the buyer beware. This edition shortens most of the songs and even cuts out some of the main verses, like the beginning of "The Message" (no "broken glass everywhere, people pissin' on the stairs you know they just don't care..." that whole section is not included.) So even though what you do get here is great music, really timeless and entertaining stuff, those responsible for compiling it messed it up. Sorry to say, but I would recommend passing on this set and looking for full length tracks, unedited 12" mixes preferably, if such a product exists anywhere on CD."
