Keepin tha UK junglist sound massive

"this album is pure breaks, no 4/4 brainless stomping here. Very much keeping the UK sound of drum n bass, whilst bringing in influences from much further afield, Variations... brings a melodic and dark present to the party.
Steeped in twisting breaks and very low bass, the vocals and melodies push on through, adding a direction and drive to the tunes.
This is not a cutting edge album, but who needs to be on the edge all of the time, you just get bloody feet...but it is forward thinking and new, whilst using older influences, and to be honest it was a breath of fresh air to hear some good tunes mixed and produced well, rather than to have someone trying to fry my brain with unintelligible breaks for 45 minutes.
all in all, a good album if you like your drum n bass intelligent, dark and groovy."
