"Thank you Rev-Ola for releasing this gem of 60's pop! Long overdue. this is a pleasure to hear in all it's digital glory. Great to here the vocals and arangements and the production job by Dominick DeMieri! The Sundowners are one of two of the great bands to come out of the Northeast, Capital NY region. The other being the Knickerbockers. That is good company to be in! This is a varied collection of their talents of instrumentation and vocals. Not the typical fare for the era. From psychedelic to lush arangements the Sundowners satisfy. If your a fan of Sixties rock buy this and enjoy!"
I've been waitin' for this!

"This was one of my most favorite albums. Whoever broke into my apartment and stole it in '77 is probably still listening to it. The chords are strange and wonderful. "The Sundowners" was the back-up band for "The Monkees" in 1967. This is when Jimi Hendrix was "The Monkees" opening act. Then "The Sundowners" released this diamond of an album. I loved it the moment the needle hit the track. I have really been waiting and now here it is. Much of it sounds like "The Beatles" in their psychedelic times.
"Let It Be Me" was a cover of the Everly Brothers only better.
"Dear Undecided" has been called the best song the Beatles never wrote.
"So Sad" is a very good blues with great guitar and very touching lyrics.
The CD is "pop, rhythm, blues, and alot of psychedelia" at it's best.
Definately a must own for the 60's collector."
