Sunny's exquisite cymbals

"BYG/Actuel released an impressive array of recordings in 1969/1970. None was more compelling than this effort by Sunny Murray. Along the lines of East Coast Colors on Dave Burrell's High Won/High Two release, Sunny's complete command over jazz cymbals will astonish you. For the recording of "Giblet" alone, this album is worth the price. The tenor team of Byard Lancaster and Ken Terroade, who never received their due in fame, will propel your ears to new levels, led by Sunny's unique and forceful drumming. Tired of "fours"? This is the cure."
