"Legend says Sunnyland is a good guy. Of course he is a great pianist also. When I looked at his playing the piano, I wondered if he is happy or he is depressed. You cannot tell only by looking at the jacket of this CD. It is easy to make the guitar cry, yet it is difficult to let the piano cry since you cannot bend the pitch. In this CD you will find the piano is actually crying. Only Sunnyland can do it. That is a magic..."

"Until I listened to Hurbert Sumlin's "blues anytime" I did not know about Sunnyland. He is not as famous as Memphis Slim, Otis Spann, and Big Maceo, but Sunnyland is a great pianist."
