"Last week I had the flu and I was laid up listening to Coltrane and Henry Cow for the whole period. I was not getting better, and I realized maybe that was because things musical around my place were just getting toooooooooo serious.
So I went and got myself this. Suzie Qautro may not break any invention or emotional impact records, but I don't climb apple trees looking for toothpaste, either.
She is smart, has a great backing band, and quite a tasteful alto singing style. This is just good old 1970s middle of the road rock and roll--the type we took for granted in those days. Now that rock is digtized and homoginized, we realize how good this music sounds.
Play it next to Areatha or any female heavywieght vocalist, or, say, some Johnny Winter or Alman Brothers, and it just works wonders.
Oh yeah, in case you wondered, 98.6 and feeling great. -"
Mass production bought sight unseen......
