"What you people talkin' 'bout bad mixing?!? This CD rocks!! I agree with Bachelor that the middle part (4-10) is absolutely phenomenal. When I'm impatient I'll just skip to those mixes. I completely lose myself when I dance to this CD - a natural Ecstacy high, I'd call it. Not good driving music - I'm afraid I'll bop around so much, I'll get into an accident. I went on the grooveradio site too, sampled the other CDs and Swedish Egil's other works don't come even close to this one. If you're looking for the best trance CD, get this one asap!!"

"All I can say is wow, when I heard the trance that Swedish Egil covered on his Elektronik album I fell in love and I grew tired of him mixing House. I didn't see it as the style he was born to do. This album is honestly one of the best trance discs I have ever heard, every song is beautiful and wonderfully picked. This is very, very good."
A tad better than Vol. 2...

"I started out with Trancemission Vol. 2 and liked it a lot. I think I gave it 4 - 4 1/2 stars. So naturally I next had to check out the first one in the series. I REALLY like it a lot -- a solid 4 1/2 stars or a little more. This is an entirely different lineup from Vol. 2, BT being the only artist who appears on both CD's. So the sound is distinctly different, which is nice. The middle part of the CD is absolutely superb, especially the tracks by Arriva and Ayla. I'm not sure I know what the reviewers here who complain about poor mixing were talking about, but then I'm just a fan of techno-dance music and not a mixer or DJ myself. IMO, Swedish Egil has put together some of the best trance on this CD."
A must have for trance fans...

"Swedish Egil is no Paul Oakenfold, but he certainly knew what music to choose for this mind blowing mix. It's great to drive to, work out to, and work to, which are my personal requirements. If you like this, go to www.grooveradio.com to check out Sweedish Egil's online radio creation. You'll be impressed."
