"At first listen, I enjoyed Two Players, but not nearly as much as I do now. It's grown on me like an uncontrollable habit. This is as close to synthpop perfection as anything I've heard in years. Floating, Closer to Earth, Your Emptiness, and Last Train to Paris are my favorite tracks, but they're all very, very good.
It's hard to describe Sweep's sound. It's like a mix of Information Society, Pet Shop Boys, and Erasure. In case it's not obvious, that's a huge compliment. The only thing I dislike about Two Players is the hidden song at the end of the last track. I find it so pretentious and annoying when bands do that; three minutes of dead air and then the hidden song. But the hidden song is fun too-- kind of a quirky, synthpop symphony."

"Wow...another great synthpop release of 2003 that pretty much reminds me of the soundtrack of a dreamstate. My favorites is "we wrote our names in water" and "miss you", as I have listened to it endlessly. These guys have other b-sides out there that are great to...the production and quality is quite melodic and does remind me of my other favorite band, Echo Image. I totally recommend this album as it is simple and sweet."
