"If you were a teenager during the post grunge movement you must own this CD. How this album did not sell 20 million copies is beyond me. It's everything you could want. It's catchy, driving, melancholy, angsty, fun, and brilliant. These guys certainly could've made it huge. It's a pity that they didn't. (For fans of early Radiohead, Oasis, and Weezer)Buy it now."
Someone must be listening to a different band

"I never post reviews. I just found this as I was using a lyrics engine for this GREAT cd. All of the reviews are right on, except the one before mine...Dickwilliam from Florida or whatever. How can a guy who lives in Florida appreciate music written in Washington anyway?
Now if you don't appreciate the so called "grunge" era then you most likely won't like this. This is diet grunge. Nothing hard core, just good lyrics melded with melody and rock and roll.
Songs like Feed Yourself and Superstar are the reasons I bought this cd. I remember hearing them on the radio when I was a teenager. I remember seeing them open for bands on the Seattle scene when I was in college. They are incredible, and I doubt anyone who has ventured to read this would dissagree.
They never got the air play that many other bands of less quality received. A few minor hits in the Seattle area, is what the world has to judge them by. Our loss.
This is good music, don't trash it because you were looking for Ok Computer.
Get this cd and make the decision yourself."

"Sweetwater became one of my favorite bands as a teenager and I still love listening to their music. These guys never got the break they deserved. The best overlooked Seattle band of all time."
Great disc

"A cool CD. Cakes an Strychnine and Self Hater really rock. The original album was good, but this is great"

"After the second album (which contained many duplicates from the locally produced debut), I was almost ready to give up on these guys until I saw them at a Fraternity party in Pullman just before this album was released. IMHO, this is the best Sweet Water album because of the consistent quality from one song to the next. It does sound more 'poppy' than the original, but well worth adding to the collection. I have played it for several non-fans and they really liked it as well. Superstar, and No Syrup... are both worth the album."
