This album came out in 1993. Doin It Now did have some hits for the artist. The songs You're The Love Of My Life, The Love I Lost and on the European album version (basically hijacked by Stock-Aiken and Waterman) there was When I'm Good And Ready. One song that was included on both versions of this album (for good reasons) is the amazingly catchy and hit worthy song Back Together Again. Why this was never made a single is beyond me. It was written by the songwriter Philip Nadelman, leader of the seminal NYC R&B group Chateau Lagoon. His partner in crime Eric Kupper of dance music fame co-produced this jumping number, probably the best song on Doin It Now. Back Together Again is not the song by Hall & Oates it is frankly, a much better song with the same title. I would love to hear a new artist record this song and make it a hit once and for all. If it soundslike I am raving about this song, well maybe I am. It is just one of the best pop songs I have ever heard that was not a radio hit, it was used in some films and television commercials in the 90's but it is time for a contemporary artist to re-record it, it stands the test of any great song, it sounds good in any era.
