A killer classic from the mighty TS Monk and very much in the snapping 80s groove of his debut. As before, twin vocalists Yvonne Fletcher and Boo Monk trade lines back and forth on the best numbers, warming things up strongly, and giving the tunes a fullness that's really great, while TS himself takes occasional leads and keeps the group stepping along with sweet work on drums. There's a greatness here that's hard to describe as the group are working in territory that's similar to so many others from the time, yet manage to do so at a level that's far above most of their contemporaries. Bonus tracks include Fantasy (Paul Simpson 2009 extended re-edit) and Candidate For Love (John Morales 2009 reconstruction).
