"Dr. McAllister is an absolutely phenomenal and relentlessly hungry performer and this disc certainly shows it. I can't think of anyone that could come close to this performance of Streetlegal, unbelievable soprano playing. The Albright is simply the finest performance given of this standard. The Wanamaker is nearly impossible to perform but TIm makes it sound effortless. I'm not sure what the reviewer is talking about below but the entire disc is NOT recorded on soprano, only the two soprano pieces are (Etezady, Babbitt). This is an example of the finest playing the "concert" saxophone has to offer. Buy without reservation. Seriously, right now!"
