"When I first recieved Over Bjoergvin Graater Himmerik I was actually expecting something along the lines of Burzum or Judas Iscariot ... in other words, something very minimalistic. Instead I recieved something totally opposite of that and, well, it's fantastic!Instead of using a few riffs and melodies for a song, Taake uses, well, I'd say about an average of 15 melodies and riffs per song. Granted, Over Bjoergvin Graater Himmerik is actually one whole song divided up into tracks for easy navigation (to my knowledge) making it basically an epic Black Metal masterpiece. In other words, imagine something like Darkthrone's Kaatharian Life Code except doubled in complexity and structure. The songwriting here is incredible. As for the Raw Black Metal fans, there is absolutly no need to worry. Hardly any non-traditional instruments are used throughout this album other than the minimal use of a mouth-harp and piano. In other words, if you like True Black Metal you will most likely enjoy this unless you only enjoy the minimalist aspects of Black Metal."
This sounds old!

"I can't believe this magnificent record came out afrter the millenium!
It sounds very old school, there's a little bit synth but it doesn't matter.
It's recorded in the legendary Grieghallen Lydstudio with Pytten. There's very switching tempos in Taakes music, witch makes it more interesting and enjoyable.
I'll actually give this record 4 and a half star...
BUY BUY BUY!!!Hail Taake!!!"

"If you want black metal and ONLY black metal this is it. some of it will have you thinking "I could do this" but you probably can't. You would not be able to summon such authenticity. From start to finish this is PURE TRUE NORWEGIAN BLACK METAL. There is not a moment of compromise, you should listen to this when it is raining only."
