Tall Tales & The Silver Lining is the reified vision of singer/songwriter Trevor Beld-Jimenez. While the band consists of a core group of friends from Ventura, CA--Nels Rosengren, Jason Bays, Brook Dalton, Seth Pettersen, Brian Granillo, and Beld-Jimenez's wife, Tania--the songs are versatile enough to be played as solo pieces, and Beld-Jimenez has embarked on several solo tours under the name Tall Tales. On the band's fourth release on Beehouse Records, ten tracks blend folk, coastal Americana, neo-spirituality, and soft rock à la Bread. The group has been consistently performing for over three years, and has played shows with many notable acts such as Kimya Dawson, Langhorne Slim, The Entrance Band, Tom Brosseau, Richard Buckner, Little Wings, Whispertown 2000, Akron Family, and Ferraby Lionheart, among others.
