CD Reviews

Wow!

"This release was taken from TD's show performed behind the iron curtain in Warsaw, circa 1984. According to the story, the heating system at this particular venue had broken down and the temperature soon dipped into the teens. The cold weather caused all kinds of technical problems for the band, but, my GOD, did they deliver one hell of a show!

Froese, Franke and Schmoelling take the audience on a complete journey through the world of sound. The concert opens up with a song reminiscent of "Love On a Real Train" from Risky Business and the rest of the show just gets better from there!

This performance has it all (except any guitar work from Edgar - what a shame); from upbeat, lighthearted songs, to moody, atmospheric journeys. The concert ends with a song that contains some of the most aggressive sequencing work I have ever heard. It starts off slow and ominous and then builds up to a shattering crescendo of sound. Amazing!

This is probably one of their best live CDs that's right up there with 1977's Encore.

Don't miss this one.

As good as the best, better than the rest

"after much consideration i must give this album my unqualified recommendation ------- the music is somewhat different than you might expect, very spare instrumentation, more of a rhythmic sound, not a total sonic blowout such as "encore". there is to my sensibilities an eastern flavor to the music, almost meditative, a quirky album but a soaring one."
Flowing mood progression

"Heard radio excerpts when I was driving/working one Sunday morning. Struck me as melodic and drew me in to a fantasy mood.

Took me several years to find the record. To me, the closest thing to continuous joy and melancholy and uplifting spirit and

special dreams; all moods in one package. Smiles and tears and wonder!

My review is from the heart...I hope you enjoy it as much as

I still do!
