It didn't end with The Slider!

"Why did everyone tell me The Slider was the last of the great T.Rex albums? Obvious they didn't hear Tanx. As soon as "Tenement Lady" begins, you know exactly what you're in for, and you can't wait for it to take hold. Tony Visconti's production is prime, Marc Bolan had some beautiful songs ready to break out, and the singles and B-sides provided on the reissue are nothing less than amazing.Left Hand Luke, the demos and unfinished versions of Tanx, proved to be an even greater investment in musical enjoyment. I'm pretty sure that anyone who enjoyed The Slider, but thought they didn't enjoy Tanx, would think twice after hearing Left Hand Luke."Broken Hearted Blues" is possibly the most beautiful song Marc Bolan ever recorded, simple and moving (especially with Visconti's strings added.) "Country Honey" and "Tenement Lady" are the definition of groovy. Sore necks are to be had listening to these tracks. "Children of the Revolution" and "20th Century Boy" are timeless, while Marc's X-mas Message is priceless.I'd consider Tanx to be on par with Electric Warrior and The Slider. Could be a great introduction to T.Rex."
