"Tapps is one of the best bubble gum disco groups popular in the 80's under the record labels JDC and Power. The vocalist, Barbara Doust, had the signature and privileged voice for "My Forbidden Lover," that unfortunately was only known as underground hit. Nevertheless, even if it did not become commercially available at the time of release, this fact does not make it a low quality production. It makes it even better, as it was not overplayed on the radio. The first time you drop it into your cd player you'll notice it's one of the best dance cd's you will ever own. I know this will be like candy to your ears. "My Forbidden Lover" is so catchy, danceable, and at the same time brings 80's nostalgia, will capture you. "Runaway", the other widely know underground hit will leave you enchanted. On this song, however, Barbara Doust is no longer the vocalist. Even so, the songs get better. "Don't pretend to know" is not as catchy, but the effort in songwritting is noticeable. "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" is just another remake of The Four Tops hit, but with quality. The "Tapps Medley" contains Tapps' every single hit and comprises it in a 14 minute megamix. Thsi CD is worth it's cost. Not only is it great music, but it's music that will never go out of style. You won't be dissapointed."
