Good singers, but get rid of the #$@#@! crickets

"I've liked Tara Maclean's singing in other albums, and the other singers were good as well, but whoever produced this album put (I think fake - it's too regular) cricket noises in several songs for 'atmosphere'(?) and it interferes with immersing yourself in the music."
The cricket album

"If you like crickets you will love this album. This album should have been titled "Crickets (accompanied by Tara MacLean)." I'm a big fan of Tara MacLean. I have several other albums by her and would rate them all with a 4 or 5 star rating. I debated strongly whether to give this album a 1 or 2 star rating. I gave it a 2 because, after all, this is Tara and her voice is so pretty. The downside is that every track on this album has crickets obnoxiously chirping in the background. The crickets are very loud for the first three tracks and somewhat toned down after that but still very distracting. I like listening to music, not crickets - especially 60+ minutes of continuous crickets. They even chirp in the space between the songs. If the crickets weren't there I would have given this album a much higher rating. Also this is an album of cover songs. She does them very well but her original music is much better in my opinion. The last song on this album, Campfire, is nothing but crickets and crackling - no singing. If I really want to hear 10 minutes of crackling I'll play some of my old vinyl LPs."
Great Music but Damn!

"The songs are all covered beautifully, but, as the previous review stated, the crickets are damn annoyig. I would love it if Tara MacLean would release this without the "nature sounds"."
