"It's the second CD of Infantino and i Tarantolati di Tricarico. Here you find great popular songs from a little town in the middle of Basilicata, a region in the south of Italy. They collected the most of their songs from the popular tradition and rearranged them in a modern way, the others are song of protest. This CD is from the 60's and now the group is living a reneissance after they participated in a song with 99Posse (La Gatta Mammona). Their protest song can be similar them to famous groups' songs like 99Posse or RATM, also if the music-style is more tribal... you can see something (but really a bit) of Sepultura. Last thing: they use cubba cubba a typical instrument of this town that's made with a reed in the middle of a piece of wet cloth which is bounded to a pail, moving the reed up and down the sound produced is really characteristic!"
