CD ReviewsThe Complete Piano Concertos of Tchaikovsky. D. Ticzon | USA | 02/06/2002 (4 out of 5 stars) "This is an CD set I have been looking for for quite some time. I could never find these works all on one CD set. I used to listen to these works when I was a child and always wanted to find a CD set that had Concerto 1, 2, 3, and Concert Fantasia.The liner notes are well written, and help shed light about these works.I do wish that the 2 CD set had laid out the concertos in their order (1,2,3, and Concert Fantasia. However, on the first CD, is Concerto 1 and Concert Fantasia, while CD #2 had the other 2 works.Sound quality is good (but not great). There are many quite passages where you could hear noise from the musicians.But overall, a very good album set to help you get to know all of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concertos. This is an CD set I will be enjoying in my office."
