"I usually like my mixes filled with Energy, Anthems, and Vocals. So I was a little dissapointed upon my initial listening of this disc. After hearing the begining of each song, I was driven to scan ahead to the next track, trying to find something that "Grabbed Me". It wasn't long before I was at the end of the CD.None of the tracks "Spoke" to me. So started the disc from the beginning & let it play while running about my morning activities. I realized this was an interesting CD and it grew on me.This isn't something to play in the middle of a party, unless you are trying to wind it down. I would liken it to an after hours club when the room is starting to come down. There are moments when the vibe gets going, but over all it's not a high energy get up and dance kind of sound.I thought for a few moments that it was reminiscent of lounge with an "up - beat", almost tribal at times if that's possible. I could also see this as backgroud music poolside at an afternnon tea party, attended by similarly minded individuals.I'm happy with the disc, as I will use it as a mood enhancing mix for the end of the night."
