Japanese band that rocks harder than most American bands

"By far the greatest rock 'n' roll band to come from Japan. This is one of those albums that manages to be rawer than raw can be. In all the lame arty or poppy bands classified as rock in 90s, these guys (and Crypt Records in general) are the saving light. Support Crypt by buying this and the 90s masterpeice "Destroy-Oh-Boy" by the New Bomb Turks. Few have heard either of these albums, but all that do seem to love them. Anyone who doesn't dig tunes like "Dressed In Black" or "Mess Me Up" seriously needs to have their heads checked."

"Once this gets going it doesn't ever let up. If you need a little extra push going up that big hill, this screamer will do it for you. For me it peaks deep in, around track 14 or so (Don't leave me alone), in which the punk attitude turns to sheer desperate sincerity (like the earliest Black Flag)."

Because of their ultra lo-fi(no-fi) approach, it might take a few spins on your turntable to realize how unique these cats are: but this is pure love for primal R&R-from the streets; the kind of sixties attitude that makes me enthusiast, like the Pagans, The Heartbreakers or DMZ.
