"the man is a genious. as a very bias fan, anything he produces is worth praise. I would put Terence in the same category as Leonard Cohen, a poet who puts his words to song. He moves me in a way few have."

"TTD snatched my attention back with his debut, The Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby and he refused to turn me loose! I remain a huge fan of his lyrical and rhythmic genius! This best of CD..does him justice..from funky to soulful to rock to hard-edge, deep rooted funk! It is a crying shame that he isn't embraced like other over paid, less talented artists! Do yourself a favor, buy this CD...the man is worth every penny! Once you get your head around his grooves and words, I guarantee you too will be an addict for the very talented, TTD! And if you can't get the experience at a live show..well this CD gives you a taste of what he's like on stage..though..it isn't the near spiritual experience it would be in person..if you close your eyes..you'll come close enough to brush up against it! He's that vivid..on wax..I kid you not!

"It may be a costly bloated import, but most of the good stuff is here. I really think a single disc would have been fine, but better to have too much, than not enough I guess. Included are his hits "Sign Your Name", "She Kissed Me", "Vibrator", and the huge and catchy "Wishing Well", among others. Also nice to see "This Side Of Love" and "Delicate". As generous as this is, I wish it had "Let's Go Forward" and "Wet Your Lips", but what can you do. Well, you could save money by just getting his excellent debut, or "Symphony Or Damn", especially used. Any of these should be a good dose of "TTD"."
