Synopsis
Product Description Teresa is where Texas meets New Orleans - funky and greasy - and everyone has a good time! Texas-born Teresa James has been called 'a singer's singer' - but James deserves wider recognition. One of the many highlights of this release is the opening cut, When the Winds Die Down, written by producer Terry Wilson (Teresa's husband). With its acoustic side and chugging rhythm, the song is a subtle slab of Delta Blues with a contemporary, relevant theme: Teresa James has the power and pipes to go as far as anyone has! She may not be a household name yet, but Oh Yeah! proves that she's working on it! Similar CDs

CD ReviewsDo you want this cd? Oh Yeah! 06/27/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "I saw Theresa on the Sandy Beaches cruise, and bought her new album immediately, and have also given some as gifts. The woman can SANG! She has a Bonnie Raitt-ish quality to her voice, and her songs are fun and catchy. My favorites on this album are The Winds of Change, Why Does the Wind Cry the Blues, and All That I Am. It's a great blues album- I highly recommend it." TAKES YOUR BREATH AWAY J. Scruggs | New Orleans, LA United States | 02/13/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "I bought and gave her CD's for xmas presents this year... that's how much their music impressed me. She is WONDERFUL in a live performance. Her entire band has energy - if you sit down while in the same room with them then you must not be able to hear the music!"
