"I also have had the pleasure of seeing this band live many, many times and can not get enough! The electicity that Terrance puts out during a show cannot compare, but this album comes pretty close! Zydeco at it's finest! This CD has it all, Zydeco, Blues, and R&B. How can you not love it! ALWAYS A BEADHEAD! PEACE, LOVE, and ZYDECO!"
By far the most innovative in his genre

"This guy embodies all that is positive about music. This record is his best yet. He sounds like a contemporary Sam Cooke. He has an obvious love of his job and a spirituality that comes through loud and clear. The passion in his voice is like nothing I've ever heard before and what he delivers to his audience is very powerful, both live and on disc. I've see him dozens and dozens of times. Every Beadhead out there needs to get the word out. Peace, love and ZYDECO! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!"
The best yet from the boys from Mallet, Louisiana

"Terrance Simien and the Mallet Playboys' best CD yet -- this has to be the perfection of their sound. I'm eagerly waiting for their next album. I saw them in concert a year ago at The King Biscuit Festival along the shores of the mighty Mississippi. The attention to detail and perfection that Terrance shows to his famous sound is only exceeded by his stage performance and interaction with his audience, many of whom are fans who travel from show to show with the group. There is some contention that "All Her Lovin'" isn't Zydeco, but is pop music instead. Music has to grow, and if this isn't the soul of the man, accept it for a joyful expression of love. The rest of the CD is outstanding, even if you don't understand Cajun French (as I do). There's a cheat sheet with the CD that translates for all you Anglophiles out there. This is the very best of the best, but will most like be second best after the next CD is made. A must buy!"
