"Being a fan of Darkane, I decided to check this bad boy out (intruiged by both the cover art and by the fact that it was a side-project of both thrash metal legends: Darkane and Soilwork -- who I haven't heard personally but know their reputation). What's terrifying about this CD is that there is no five-day waiting period of background check to get your hands on it! In the wrong hands it can be downright dangerous! This album doesn't suffer from the monotonous, null drumming and flatlined guitar that sinks a lot of thrash groups today. Darkane is infamous for being able to mix good ol'-style guitar riffs in with mutating percussion that actually creates a 'thrash symphony', if you will, of melody. Melody in a thrash metal band? What a concept huh!! Vocally, Soilwork unscrew the hold-bars and yank out the seatbelts - wailing demonically at you with NO time to recover. It is NOT reccommended you listen to this album for the first time in your car, as your local law enforcement will likely not like you turning your freeway/highway/autobahn into a destruction derby. It is ALSO not reccommended that you listen to it for the first at the office, as bludgening you co-workers to death with staplers and paper-weights is likely to impact your future with the company ^^Now that we have that out the way, buy it, put it in, shut up, and hang on!"
This [...] shreds!

"It's stuff like this that I just love finding out about. As of right now this band is almost totally unknown as this album is pretty new and they are merely a sideproject consisting of Henry and Speed from Soilwork and the two guitarists from Darkane. The result is a work of no bull[...], brutal melodic thrash metal much like The Haunted, Medulla Nocte and The Crown. The guitar playing is sickeningly frentic and fans of Soilwork I'm sure know that Speed is an excellent vocalist. If you've heard The Chainheart Machine as well then you'd also know that Henry can annhilate a drum kit like few others. Being a massive fan of The Haunted, their first album especially, I almost had to change my underwear the first time I heard this. If you want some fast as [...] metal that just destroys time after time then you want Terror 2000's album."

"finally finally FINALLY a GOOD thrash band that really pulls off the swedish at the gates style sound to a T. i have been searching high and low for a band like this. merging mems of darkane and soilwork, terror 2000 creates a blistering slayer-esque style thrash. this cd is truly what slayer's last 5 efforts SHOULD have sounded like. truly amazing."

""Slaughterhouse Supremacy" is yet another of those addictive death/thrash albums that it seems only Sweden can produce. Consisting of vocalist Speed Strid and drummer Henry Ranta of Soilwork, Darkane guitarist Klas Ideberg, and guitarist Nick Sword, Terror 2000 is sure to please any member of those two bands. The keyboards, melody, and eclecticism that characterize Soilwork's sound are not in evidence here. Rather, Terror 2000 thrash, thrash, and then thrash some more. "Son Of A Gun, Daughter Of A Slaughter" (best song title ever) starts the album off on a note of pure hell-raising aggression, and the guys don't let up from there. From beginning to end, "Terror 2000" exhibits unbridled speed and enthusiasm, combined with top-notch performances from all involved. It's pretty tough to play as fast as these guys do, and to churn out guitar harmonies at such speed must require some extremely adept picking from Klaus and Nick. Speed's throaty scream-growl has made him one of my favorite vocalists since I started listening to Soilwork, and with Terror 2000 he pushes his voice to new levels of intensity. And if he had any urge to sing on this album, as he so often does with Soilwork, he kept it under wraps. Terror 2000 don't display the variety that so many other Swedish metal bands do, but when they do what they do so well it's hard to complain. Besides, isn't a side project supposed to be a chance to let loose? This album gets my recommendation for metalheads across the board."
