CD Reviews

Different but great
Christopher R. Balas | 11/17/2008
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I have loved testament over the years. This release is very different, heavy but like deathmetal combined. But this does not change the way of how good the album is. chuck billy still knows what he is doing. If you like deathmetal and thrash put together you will love this album."
Good Death Metal
J.C. | Peoria, IL USA | 11/21/2008
(4 out of 5 stars)

"The only reason I do not give this album five stars is because every track on this album is not great, just most of them. I recommend this album to the listener that likes death metal vocals but thinks Cannibal Corpse is too over-the-top. If you have never listened to death metal, this is a great place to start. Also, if you are not fond of lengthy guitar solos or would like to hear some moderate paced metal without excessive guitar solos for a change, this album is for you. I think 'Demonic Refusal' is the best song off of this album. Gene "The Atomic Clock" Hoglan, as usual, delivers drum parts that both display his virtuosity and fit in with the rest of the band."
