THE Texas disc to get esp if you're a fan

(4 out of 5 stars)
"I don't know why they don't issue releases like these discs here in the US. It's always in other countries that they get to enjoy extra tracks and double CD editions for the same price. And when that disc is imported here, it will cost an arm and a leg for what should have been a similar priced CD.
Anyway, I was lucky to obtain this disc from my trips to HK years ago. I am only writing a review now because I realized the band, Texas, wasn't known here but were big in Europe and Asia. It's a shame because up to this greatest hits CD they were cranking out real good tunes and music videos to go with it.
This CD reminisces those hits and came out at the same time they introduced a new single, In Demand - which became a chart topper especially as a dance track.
CD1 contains the normal album-issued tracks with the exception of the last track. CD2 contains selected songs as dance mixes plus three music videos.
Why only 4 stars?
Well, despite a good greates hits album. It's the price you guys have to pay just to obtain the same album in America. It's ridiculous.
Second is that the quality could use great improvement by doing a digital re-master. The quality of the music even during that time could have used tweaking. And believe me it's not my speakers. If you've heard about THX pm3-certified professional studio speakers, but that's a different review. You can notice the quality by just comparing it with other discs and you will get an idea.
Third the three bonus videos were poorly mastered, too. Can you imagine viewing the videos in very low quality small windows and in MONO. Mono! If the internet can deliver stereo tracks, this is a CD that doesn't need downloading.
It's a shame because the band and their songs are winners!"
