Get caught in this Avalanche

"The avalanches after two and half long years finally release their new single. In the tradition of El Producto the Avalanches manage to capture an entirely unique sound. Mixing beats and samples the Avalanches are truely "sick". Fronteir Psyhciatrist is the first release off their second albumn, which has been delayed until it's release in February. This track mixes over 30 different samples and if its any indication of whats to come, get ready. The Avalanches are an awesome show live and totally back it up in the studio. I recommend to check out their new single, and before their albumn release in February, check out El Producto. The Avalanches continue to be one of Australia's leading bands. Get ready for big things. Four stars."

"notice! the lack of frenzied, unintelligible vocals a la el producto! marvel! at dj dexta's awe-inspiring turntable work, especially in the bird section! wonder! how a sample of some dude saying 'that boy needs therapy' can possibly rock so hard! enjoy! the mix of loose, 70s breaks with spaghetti western music! wait! with bated breath for the release of their world-changing full-length album! (i heard november 2000)."
