Album DescriptionBehoovers vocalist Jon Fox used to be married to The Cogs' lead singer. When the marriage broke up, so did that band. Thankfully, this tumultuous experience and its aftermath inspired a bucket of songs tackling grown-up issues and ideas with varying dollops of sadness, defiance and humor. The fallout is a fourteen-song CD that successfully intertwines the mysterious power of real rock and roll with the genuine thoughts, insights and emotions of people who've been around the block once or twice. The bulk of the songs were written shortly after September 11, 2001, and the disc was recorded in a former fire station in Providence, Rhode Island. In one way or another, a primary theme here is loss. But there's a strong undercurrent of hope and redemption, too. Hopefully, instead of slitting their wrists, listeners will be inspired to pick up their own guitar, go out and see a rock show, or tell a good joke to a friend.
