Hidden treasure

"I love this album, and I can't believe how hard it is to find and how few people have heard it. These guys have an indy-pop-Austin-rock sound. They have a similar "feel" as Spoon. I don't do record reviews (until this one) but I couldn't believe there weren't any kudos much less reviews for this album so I thought I would remedy that. There are some fun songs, catchy riffs and just good music. Sample a few songs and see if you don't agree. It's perfect music for tooling around Texas."

"Austin Music Magazine is by no means the definitive source on music but they summed it up quite nicely with: "The Black And White Years deserve comparison to the Talking Heads..."

If that by itself doesn't intrigue you, I will add that this album has so many layers and complexities while retaining a pop/dance element that makes for an entertaining listen and a very fun live show. Buy this Album, thank me later."
